Don't Worry - Be Happy
My dear sweet husband brought me these beautiful flowers yesterday to cheer me up. I have been a little down because I did not go the full year without some suspicious cells, so Tuesday I have to get another colposcopy and now an endometrial biopsy. I know so many of you that come here are Christians and I would really appreciate any prayers you could send up for me. I believe in prayer! I am so scared because I lost my mom to endometrial cancer. I try not to think the worst, but it sometimes just finds its way into my head. I think that is why I have been making all these fairies. It makes me take a little trip out of real life into fantasy. I was reminded this morning in a sermon that all thing work for the good for those who believe in Him. I hold tight to that promise. I hesitated on writing this post because it doesn't really have anything to do with the art, but then again it does. LOL

Kim,
Is there anything I can do to help?
I will hold your hand here with my heart. It is absolutely okay to be scared about an uncertain future and to ask for prayers. Death terrifies me, too. I don't know if that's a completely un-PC thing to say at the moment, but it's true, especially now that I feel like I have so much more to lose. In this fear, you are never alone. Go forward boldly anyhow, I say.
Just keep this in mind: You do have a God who loves you. And, you are NOT your mother; every day technology is different and always improving. Past experiences can be a pain in the butt and very misleading. You are still here. Eyes wide open. Embrace and dream.
I love the fairies and Woodkin is so darn cute.
Ahh, Missy Kim. I will most definitely keep you in my prayers. How could you not be scared? It's ok. Hang in there and just keep on "keeping on". As far as the post not being about art... you are a work of art, God's art and He doesn't make mistakes. Let us know if we can do anything. Everwild and I are from the same area, so we can form a Tag-Team, if necessary.
You will be in my prayers..Keep your blog up with the latest information.
I think the fairies are your gift from God, while you go though this problem..
Kim, Thanks for stopping by my blog. I have enjoyed looking over yours! You are so creative, what a wonderful God given talent you possess...creativity!
I will keep you in my prayers. I am also part of an online prayer group, and if you aren't already on it, I will add your request. We know that fear is not of God, but the weakness of our flesh makes it so hard for us not to fear in situations like yours. I'm so guilty of it myself. But I will pray for you, for your physical needs, ...and for comfort, peace, and as encouragment! May you find strength in knowing that others ARE praying for YOU...and that God's loving arms are embracing you, dear child of His!

Hope you will come back & visit again!
Hello Kim,
Peace be with you. May the Lord continue to flood your heart with peace and joy unspeakable!
Please keep us updated, and let us know what specific things we can pray for you.
I've been thinking of you for two days now. That must mean we are all connected. What beautiful flowers. What a wonderful husband. I will pray for you. I ran across an article on prayer and why it does and doesn't work. It's by a spiritual counselor. If you email me with your address I can send it to you it you are interested in reading it. Everything revolves around love and forgiveness. I know this year forgiveness is my lesson. Sometimes we are tested and tested but God is here for you. You are not alone. Keep us posted as to your health.
I love your fairies too. I especially love the one is the jar.
God's blessings...
