Good Friday

This morning I woke up thinking about Jesus, so I set out in search of artists who have painted Him. All I can say is, wow! But one artist stood out for me and his name was Warner Sallman. This one of Jesus would be on my top ten list of modern paintings. In my search I discovered that this picture of Jesus head is one of the most popular artworks of all time.
I love all of these!

Kim, thank you for posting these, they really are beautiful. I think many of us, can get so wrapped up in the hustle and bustle of our daily lives that we forget, even on such an important day as this, to stop, take a moment (or several) and reflect.

Kim I love them all but am taken by the second one. We were sailing in very bad and foggy weather once and I truly felt his presence helping us through. He evokes such calm, I can't even begin to explain it. Have a wonderful easter. Sharon

PS. How is your book on coffee filter dolls coming. I only ask as I hope I have not missed one of your blogs.
