Inspiration ( This is not my work)

Every now and then we run across an artist that makes us want to try new things. I am not sure why some things hit us more that others, but this artist is speaking to my soul right now. To see more of this talented artist work, click on her name Gerda S- Rijisdijk

I just checked out her work, and it is wonderful! no wonder you are drawn to it. I can totally see you being inspired by this, and incorporating some of her style into your work :-)

Kim, I came across her work awhile ago and was blown away by her women series. Her children are incredibly cute and the fact that she used to be a fashion designer is evident in their costuming, but the assemblage pieces are what I also find so inspiring.

She really is talented, and the second doll you've posted here is one of my favorites. :)

Hey Kim
Yes, the weather has been great. I have cows in the back yard, which are really cool, since I've never seen one up close. Thanks for the sweet comments on my paper clay dolls, they were fun, but I feel they are fragile, and if dropped they break, I still like fabric better, no breaking
