Freeform Crochet

There is just something about freeform crochet. My grandmother taught me to crochet around the age of seven. I remember it like it was yesterday. I thought it was the coolest thing in the world to take a hook and string and the stitches would make a fabric. I would sit for hours playing with the yarn. My dolls were all dressed with my creations. I did not care that some stitches were lose and some too tight. I thought is was beautiful and Barbie never looked better. "LOL"

The basket in the background is getting a freeform makeover.

This looks great. I also love to crochet, but have never thought about free form. I think I see a similar project in my future. Thanks for sharing.

Your freeforming is lovely! I've just recently starting with freeform crochet and am absolutely loving it myself. :-)
