Now, It's Finished!

I did this textile collage back in April. Before I put something up for sale, I like to live with it, so it was put on the wall. Something was just not right! A month went by and I just could not figure out what was bothering me, so I mentioned it to the Dh and he knew right away what needed to be changed, so I asked him why he did not mention something sooner and his reply was, I am not the artist! It is sometimes hard to decide (for me) when a piece is finished. The piece on the fur was removed and placed a little higher up.
What a difference that made!

beautiful collage. So inspiring.
I just love this atmosphere you are creating for yourself in your sewing room/ studio.

What a lovely piece. So much work went into this, as with all your pieces. It's great to have an extra pair of eyes to point out that "little something" that needs to be done. Just goes to show DH is more of an artist than he thinks. Hugs.

Gorgeous! I know what you mean about living with something for a while before you know you are finished with it. I do that with my paintings sometimes.
